TRADITIONAL ACUPUNCTURE
Traditional Acupuncture is a safe and effective therapy that has been practised in China, Japan and other Eastern countries for over 2,000 years. As more people recognise the benefits of person-centred natural healing, it is now one of the most popular complementary therapies in the West.
Therapy
Therapy may include:
- Needling: Gentle insertion of very fine needles that regulate Qi
- Moxibustion: Heat Treatment with a warming herb (mugwort)
- Cupping: Special cups that draw out and release toxins
- Massage: Relaxing massage to move stagnant energy
- Dietary & Lifestyle Advice: Basic lifestyle changes to accelerate healing
How It Works
In Chinese Medicine, Qi (pronounced "chee") is the energy that flows through a network of meridians and regulates the health of the body.
When our system is out of balance we can apply therapy to this Qi to recover health and well-being.
